A Dallas Metro Market hospital seeks a dynamic RN Director of Emergency Services to lead their busy ED and Trauma Services. This exceptional 500-beds, is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and is a vital resource for the community. The ED is graded as a "Best Hospital" by the US World and News Report. In this role, you will oversee the operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. As a leader, you will guide and mentor a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. The Emergency Services pavilion has been newly expanded and is as stunning as it is functional. The large Emergency Department (ED) features over 60 beds, including 7 trauma rooms, 5 triage areas, and 10 emergency rooms. The Administrative Director will report to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) and will oversee 4 Nurse Managers, 8 Assistant Nurse Managers, and Lead RNs. Additionally, there will be a Trauma Program Director, a Trauma Nurse Educator, and an ED Nurse Educator. As ED Nurse Director, you will be responsible for managing departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation, all of which aim to optimize efficiency and service delivery. Your leadership will drive the implementation of evidence-based practices and clinical protocols to enhance patient outcomes while focusing on performance improvement initiatives and quality control metrics.
