Job Description:
A company is looking for a Collector I (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Initiate collection actions and handle calls from patients,
insurance companies, and facilities
Maintain book of business, review, correct, and submit invoices and
claims
Research and resolve denied or disputed balances, collaborating
with internal and external customers
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two years' experience in health care billing and
collections
Knowledge of coding and the Fair Debt Collection Act
Ability to manage public interactions professionally
Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and company policy procedures
