Job Description:
Job Description The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) leads the
performance of a multiple disciplines within Supply Chain both
directly and indirectly. The Manager will develop, implement, and
direct policies, practices, and procedures in accordance with
command media. The manager will constantly review the staff for
continuous employee growth and is responsible for succession
planning. The supply chain manager will drive continuous
improvement within the function.The SCM will lead and manage a team
of Supply Chain professionals at various experience levels
including but not limited to Manufacturing Production Control,
Supply Chain Planning, Master Production Scheduling, and other
Supply Chain Managers for assigned programs. The Supply Chain
Manager is an escalation point and may facilitate coordination with
other supply chain functions such as Procurement, Subcontracts,
Logistics, etc.
- The SCM II will lead, develop, and implement supply chain
strategies for the programs, product lines, and function.
- SCM will assist in planning, developing, and executing
corporate training and organizational development plan for Supply
Chain personnel.
- Other people manager responsibilities include but are not
limited to: assessing staffing levels, hiring, coaching, and
leading a diverse set of employees.
- Develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships
with both internal and external customers
- This candidate will network with management and team members
across the enterprise to drive success.
- The Supply Chain Manager II will also provide mentorship to
other people managers under their responsibility. Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 10-12 years work experience or equivalent
experience
- Understanding of the role of supply chain in complex
industries
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
- Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other),
inclusive of shop floor control systems
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in the following:
Material Planning, Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning
(S&OP), Inventory Management, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, or
Production Planning
- Ability to prioritize departmental activities set effective
(SMART) goals and objectives in line with overall corporate
strategy.
- Proven leadership and organizational change experience:
- Ability to motivate and manage personnel
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent time management/organizational skills
- Strategic/Critical Thinking
- Ability to find win-win solutions; a "make it happen"

Higher level education completed or
in process. Proven experience building/managing a Supply Chain
organization with a strong leadership track record and thorough
understanding of Operations practices (Sales & Operation
Planning).Ability to implement Lean & Six Sigma process
improvementsWillingness and desire for continuous improvement,
showing initiative by undertaking self-development activities,
seeking increased responsibilities, and taking advantage of
learning opportunitiesAPICS or ISM certifiedWell versed with Oracle
ERP systemExperience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics
design & manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with defense
aerospace industry Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112800 -
$191800Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
