Summary The Sales Development Representative is responsible for
identifying and qualifying potential opportunities and leads at the
initial stages in the sales funnel. This remote position is one of
the first touch points for prospects and sets the tone for
remainder of the sales cycle. The process involves researching,
connecting with, and educating potential prospects, with the intent
of handing them off to the outside sales team.Essential Job
Functions Effectively partner and work with the Marketing team,
Outside Sales team and Technical Support team to develop account
intelligence and help define target markets and
opportunities.Mapping account researchProspecting - Cold
calling/emailing, referrals, social selling to generate
interestRe-engaging existing targets with no recent
activityScheduling meetings for the outside sales teamDocumenting
information and interactions in the Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) softwareFollowing up on incoming leads, as
appropriateOther duties as assignedRequirements: Requirements
Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as
within a team environmentHigh energy with a strong desire to take
actionAmbition to learn and grow, developing skills/experience
