Title: Sr. Product Manager
Duration:14 months
Location: Richardson, TX - In-person preferred, but remote is ok if not local
Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm

Resource's typical working day:


  • Work with stake holders to understand high level problems and translate them to products and initiatives
  • Manager product managers in the US and India
  • Prepare and submit business cases
  • Work with product financials
  • All items that involve product operations

    3. Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management: Strong skills in engaging with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, and managing relationships across engineering, business partners, and senior leadership.
    4. Governance and Reporting: Expertise in product governance processes, overseeing business case development, and preparing executive reporting materials to track progress and drive accountability.

    • Experiencing in managing geographically distributed teams
    • Experience in leading/managing data products, and/or enterprise level software as a service products across a multi-market environment
    • Understanding of data management concepts and data as a service technologies
    • Previous experience in real-estate industry very desirable, otherwise experience in financial or mgmt. consulting industries would be a plus
    • Experience in owning product proposition, product commercialization and GTM for enterprise level products a plus

      About the role
      The Digital & Technology division of Property Management is looking for a passionate, accomplished, data-driven, and results-oriented Product Principal for a fixed term contract (maternity cover -14 months) to oversee and provide leadership across several global and regional products and initiatives. The role is responsible for providing leadership and management of team members during planning, design, and implementation of products and product extensions during all life cycle stages, as well as directly owning these activities for certain key areas.
      This position is strongly cross-functional in nature, requiring strong working relationships with multiple teams, including Property Management and Management Accounting, Data Analytics, User Experience, Engineering and Business Transformation teams. In addition to internal constituents, you may also work with customers and partners to understand the market requirements and to support any vendor partner integrations, so excellent communication (written and verbal) and a passion for creating customer centric, good user experience is vital.

      Key Responsibilities


      • Serve as a point of contact between the development team and stakeholders.
      • Ensure products within the role's domain meet all expectations and requirements.
      • Define complex user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product requirements and communicate these requirements to the development team.
      • Work closely with Sr. designers, Sr. engineers, and Sr. business professionals in a collaborative environment to create strategic, product roadmaps.
      • Identify and define ongoing updated product features that align with the business strategy.
      • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders, manage executive stakeholder communication and reporting and oversee this process for a group of Product Managers.
      • Actively engage in the Agile process. This includes daily scrum sessions, demos, and testing activities.
      • Apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles, advanced techniques, and theories to create unprecedented solutions.
      • ? Showcase in-depth expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and/or technologies within own function.
      • ? Use experience and knowledge of all job areas within a function, practical experience in several functional areas or businesses, or concentrated knowledge of a particular discipline to coach and guide others.
      • ? Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with client RISE values. Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors to influence decisions of strategic importance. Anticipate potential objections, and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
      • ? Drive the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services.
      • ? Significantly impact the design of policies and procedures. Provide moderate impact on the business direction through the development of innovative services or products.
      • ? Observe, assess and direct multiple Product Managers across regions
      • ? Define, monitor and analyze key performance indicators to better facilitate the product decision making process.
      • ? Partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant, and scalable solutions that solve material business problems.
      • ? Translate high-level specifications for software components into program specifications.


        REQUIRED SKILLS:


        • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
        • Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
        • Ability to identify and solve the most complex problems.
        • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
        • Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
        • Experience influencing teams in a global, cross-functional environment and building rapport with all levels of the organization.
        • Experience managing other product managers and technical product owners.
        • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to conduct financial analysis desirable.
        • Understanding of software and data analytics trends in commercial real-estate desirable.
